Gatekeepers is ministry for children ages 5 to 12. We meet every Wednesday at 7:00pm and Sundays during the adult worship service at 10:30am. This ministry is where our children learn about God in a safe and fun environment. We are an extension of the godly teaching that they are receiving at home. We want the whole family to feel fulfilled as they are ministered to on their level.

We have many activities on a regular basis. Here are some that we have done in the past.

• JIM nights (seeing Jesus In Movies)
• Harvest Party
• Christmas Party
• Going for ice cream
• Going to the roller rink and mini-golf

Gatekeepers Mission Statement - Isaiah 26:1-2

It is our objective to introduce children to Jesus and have them operating in the gifts of the Spirit. We desire to bring them into an understanding of the kingdom of God. The children can be trained up to be leaders and given opportunities to pour out to others. We will reach and teach the whole child: spirit, soul, and body in a fun and safe atmosphere. All this will be done within our main themes of kingdom, prayer, and missions.



Gatekeepers Mission Objectives

1. Introduce each child to the Lord Jesus Christ.

2. Have children filled with the Holy Spirit and operating in the gifts of the Spirit, by giving them opportunity within our worship and teaching times to receive the infilling.

3. Develop an understanding of the Third Day Kingdom message through the explanation of types and shadows for deeper understanding of scripture. And to focus on their righteousness by calling to the Christ in them, instead of the behavior we see at the moment.

4. Training up the children to be leaders and reach out and help others.

5. Provide opportunities to minister within the community.

6. Provide a balance to the spiritual, emotional, and physical well being of the children by teaching the proper order of spirit, soul, and body.

7. Provide a safe and fun atmosphere.

8. Provide spiritual guidance for any child that expresses a desire for it, as well as parents that desire it either for themselves or their children.

9. Create in them a world missions mindset by exposing them to different cultures and helping them to understand others.

10. Develop in them a love for prayer. That they are a house of prayer.
